Throw Pillow Styling Tips
— Mix patterns and solids to create a look that flows. My basic rule of thumb is one pattern, one stripe, and one solid!
— Use a variety of sizes like 22″, 20″, and 18″ for contrast, or keep them all the same for a cohesive look.
— Alternate between combinations of 2 and 3 when styling a sofa.
— Allow the pillows to blend by selecting colors in the same tone or ‘color family.’ It’s also good to reflect the colors in one pillow with another one in the room! Look at the graphic below.
— Notice how the warm tones are present through all the vignettes. It will create a uniform look throughout the room without being too matchy-matchy!
— Don’t forget to fluff and chop! ✨
